Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-III
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has previously implemented two successful schemes, known as the PM National Laptop Scheme Phase-I and II. These schemes were designed to provide laptops to students in order to enhance their access to education and promote digital literacy. Under the second phase, approximately 500,000 laptops were distributed to students across public sector universities and technical colleges, including Federal and FATA colleges. The execution of the scheme was carried out by the Higher Education Commission, ensuring transparency in the distribution process. Detailed information about the scheme, including beneficiary lists, was made available to the public through the HEC website.
The Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-III is a testament to the Government's commitment to investing in the future of Pakistan. By providing laptops to deserving students, the scheme aims to empower the youth, bridge the digital divide, and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. It is a step towards creating a knowledge-based economy and ensuring that the country's young population has the necessary tools and opportunities to thrive in the digital era.
